Laminated glass consists of two or more layers of glass permanently bonded together by a plastic or resin interlayer. Should it get broken, this interlayer bonds the broken fragments together, keeping the glass intact.

The lamination process results in the glass panelsholding together in the event of breakage, reducing the risk of harm.
